#LAHBIL

The social system leads us to the most exaggerated compliance: we crave for the same dress code, the same selfie and the same lifting and we try to conquer a prepackaged lifestyle at all costs that makes you feel safer. Safe in which way?

It’s true, each of us is unique and unrepeatable in his way, but there are more unique and unrepeatable individuals than others. Often they are lonely, misunderstood people and in most cases they are mad. PAZZI is an obsessive research on madness: a reportage made with ‘special models’, encountered on the street and which, according to the photographic bon ton, should be avoided instead of immortalized.

The project started in May 2022 and have already been made two series of photographs, in Morocco and Kenya, but it will continue all over the rest of the world. At the end of the work all the portraits will be mixed as you would with a large deck of cards.

The purpose of the project is to show that there is beauty, inherent and not stereotyped, in the expression and in the way of being crazy. Within them lives a particular creative nature that probably arises from the refusal of any convention and from the choice to be tragically free.
Peculiarities that, maybe, in the end, we all crave for.
